TANSTAAFL...

Do you recognize the acronym, TANSTAAFL? "There ain't no such thing as a free lunch."

TANSTAAFL is a first cousin to, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably isn't true."

Want to guarantee you'll go to heaven when you die? Just say a little prayer and you will have eternal life. Sound too good to be true? It is...too good to be true, that is.

The road to life is not easy, but God never said it would be easy. As Jesus said, "Narrow is the way which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it" (Matthew 7:14)

Life and blessing come from obedience to God and his ways...you will not obey God without the Spirit of God to help you. It's why Jesus said, "Ye must be born again."

Preachers make it sound easy; just say a little prayer and all your sins past present and future are forgiven; you're guaranteed eternal life and a mansion in heaven.

If you think this is true...don't be surprised when you reach the pearly gates and hear, "Depart from me, I never knew you."

The myths, lies and misconceptions coming from the pulpit is why I push and prod you to stop listening to the words of man, and start listening to the Word of God.

Until you're born again and know, without a doubt, God is real...nothing else matters.
