So many times
over the last thirty plus years I have wanted to quit a project. Either because it didn't do what I thought it should or simply my lack of patience.
Most of us know our strengths and weaknesses.
I'm great at starting projects. I can see the end from the beginning; I love developing the concept, the logos, the business plan...but I'm a bad finisher.
Mostly, I get bored with the day-to-day stuff; when it's done, I'm ready to move on to the next project.
Whenever I would get to point of throwing in the towel, I would be gently reminded that an ocean begins with a single drop of rain. It takes patience; and a lot of faith to trust in God's ability to bring it to pass...but that's what it's all about; learning to trust God.
Things don't always work out the way we expect, but I have found if you let God establish your thoughts and order your steps, it works out better than you could ever have imagined.
What can I say, God is great and greatly to be praised.
When you think of quitting remember, an ocean begins with a single drop of rain.
