REAP

Quid Pro Quo

A lot of people think dealing with God is Quid Pro Quo...I'll do this for you, if you'll do that for me.  Kinda like, "Let me win the million dollar lottery and I"ll give ten percent to the church."  Yeah, not so much.

God doesn't do Quid Pro Quo, he does Reap What You Sow.  Jesus said, "Know ye not this parable?  and how then will ye know all parables?"  (Mark 4:13)

Whatever you plant (sow) you will harvest (reap).  You can't plant cabbage and reap tomatoes.  A cauliflower seed won't produce corn.  Whatever you plant, you reap.

If you want to become healthy, eat healthy.  You don't have to become a vegetarian, but there's a reason why God said, "eat neither fat nor blood" (Leviticus 3:17)  All known diseases have been linked to animal fat and are transmitted in the blood.

If you want to become wealthy, you have to invest (sow) your money...but beware, in the parable of the sower, only 25% of the seed fell on good ground.  If you "sow" in bad ground (like get rich quick schemes), you won't reap a harvest; in fact, you will probably lose your seed.  For more information, read my book, "Financial Freedom."

If you want to become wise, invest your time reading the Bible.  God's way works.

However, until you know, without a doubt, God is real...nothing else matters.
