WEALTH S

S - Save 10% Of Your Income...

Here is Wisdom: "A wise man saves for the future, but the foolish spends whatever he gets" (Proverbs 21:20 - TLB)

Think of wealth and poverty as a two-lane highway...everyone is going one way or the other.  If you're making more than you spend, you're on the way to wealth.  If you're spending more than you make, you're on the way to poverty.

It's not rocket science, but even saving can be misunderstood.  Most people save nothing, some people save everything...both are dangerous positions.

By not saving, you're sacrificing the future; by saving everything you're sacrificing the present.  In nature, there is always a balance.

God understood the importance of saving.  The principle he established is called "tithing."  The "Tithe" was to provide and protect his people in the event of a future calamity...flood, famine, pestilence, etc,...that was bound to come upon them..

In saving 10%, we're not talking about taking the portion (tithe) that belongs to God and putting it in a savings account.  It's the principle of "tithing"...saving 10% of your income to protect and provide for you and your family in the event of future calamity.

Ask any senior what they would do if they could start over and most (if not all) would say, "Save more money."  If you're just starting out, following the S.I.M.P.L.E. way and saving just a $100 a month will make you a millionaire by the time you retire.

If you want to experience Financial Freedom, God's way: Save 10% of your income.
