Beware The Wicked

Ray Evans • March 13, 2020
I don't think I need to tell anyone about the evil deeds of Stalin and Hitler.

Pol Pot, Mao and Idi Amin aren't household names, but these evil men also killed millions of people.

Proverbs 29:2 may seem academic, "When the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn;" but keep in mind these words of wisdom were spoken thousands of years before any of the above named evil despots were even born.

If Satan wore a red suit and carried a pitchfork, he would be easy to recognize; but he doesn't.  In fact, the Bible says, "Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.  Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness" (2 Corinthians 11:14)

Satan's goal is to draw people away from God; making life miserable...whether it's an individual, family or even country.  He is a liar; and more cunning than any other beast (Genesis 3:1)

Everything he says and does looks right thru the world's eyes...abortion and same-sex marriage seem right, but they are abominations to God.

Do Not Be Deceived:   Satan is the god of this world...it's going to get worse, a lot worse, before it gets better.

The wicked will rule and the people will mourn, until God fulfills his promise of a new world...just as it was in the days of Noah.

Get ready...the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Of course, until you are reborn Spiritually...nothing else matters.

Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth
By Ray Evans May 9, 2020
Believing in the "Rapture" relieves you of the responsibility to do anything except believe in Jesus...who will magically whisk you away to heaven. It's a lie, designed to keep you from preparing or being prepared for what's coming.
Job 32:9 Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.

A lot of well-known and well-respected preachers talk about how long they have been preaching, as if the longer one preaches the more qualified one is to preach.
Job 28:28 And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom

This may seem a strange question, but it never ceases to amaze me how few people allow God to play an active role in their daily lives. Why anyone would not want the creator of the universe to help them every second, every minute and every hour of every day, is simply beyond me.
Psalms 15:1 Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?
By Ray Evans May 6, 2020
The question in Psalms 15, "Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle?" probably has as many answers as there are preachers, but they all stem from a common belief: "Everyone who believes in Jesus goes to heaven." Sounds great, but is it true?
