When I first started working, my Dad said to me, "If you enjoy what you do, you'll never work a day in your life."
As a youngster this didn't make a lot of sense; but after a few years in the work-force, I really began to understand what he meant.
Life is too short to work at a job you hate...no matter how much it pays. As scripture indicates, "Better is the poor that walketh in his uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich." (Proverbs 28:6)
When you're unhappy in your job - when you hate what you do; it makes life miserable...and life is too short to work at a job you hate.
Maybe you don't hate it; but if it doesn't make you happy or if it feels like drudgery, take a look at what will make you happy and consider making a change.
I know this sounds a lot easier than it is, but it's really not. There may be sacrifices that need to be made, but in the long run it will be worth it.
You can't measure happiness in dollars and cents. Trust me when I say, "If you focus on money, it will never be enough."
If you want a happier, healthier, wealthier life: Make life your work, not work your life.
