The Fool's Way

Ray Evans • February 28, 2020
Who is a bigger fool?  The fool, or the one who follows a fool?

We all know people whose mantra is , "I'm not always right, but I'm never wrong."

Pride and arrogance are highly valued in our "me, me, me" society; but you should know, God hates pride, arrogance and the evil way (Proverbs 8:13).  It's one thing to be a fool, it's quite another to be hated by God.

Yes, God hates.  No where in scripture does it say that God hates the sin, but loves the sinner.  This is just another myth, lie or misconception from the pulpit designed to fill the pews and collection plate.  Sin is sin...and the wages of sin is death.

The Bible has a lot to say about "fools," but nothing more important than this: "The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God." (Psalms 14:1)

It's amazing to me how anyone can believe that evolution produced a perfect human, with all our complexities, on the first try...where is the evidence of the mistakes?  Where are the remains of any being, animal or human, with one ear, three eyes or no nose?  Be honest, how would a blind fish know it needed eyes or even know what an eye is or was for?  And, why would one decide to be a whale and another a shark?

C'mon, evolution, really?

Don't be foolish.  God, is real; but don't take my word for it...get down on your knees and pray as I prayed over thirty years ago, "God, if you're real, I want to know."

Because until you know, without a doubt, God is real...nothing else matters.

Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth
By Ray Evans May 9, 2020
Believing in the "Rapture" relieves you of the responsibility to do anything except believe in Jesus...who will magically whisk you away to heaven. It's a lie, designed to keep you from preparing or being prepared for what's coming.
Job 32:9 Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.

A lot of well-known and well-respected preachers talk about how long they have been preaching, as if the longer one preaches the more qualified one is to preach.
Job 28:28 And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom

This may seem a strange question, but it never ceases to amaze me how few people allow God to play an active role in their daily lives. Why anyone would not want the creator of the universe to help them every second, every minute and every hour of every day, is simply beyond me.
Psalms 15:1 Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?
By Ray Evans May 6, 2020
The question in Psalms 15, "Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle?" probably has as many answers as there are preachers, but they all stem from a common belief: "Everyone who believes in Jesus goes to heaven." Sounds great, but is it true?
