Prepare For The Worst

Ray Evans • January 16, 2020
One does not need to be a Prophet to see that the world is waxing worse and worse...pick up any newspaper.

The result of living "man's" way is evident...crime and violence, death and destruction.  How long will God allow it to continue?  The Good News...not much longer.

You may be like those who say it won't happen ("where is the promise of his coming, for since the fathers fell asleep, nothing has changed")  Or, you may believe God is going to "rapture" you away from the destruction (be careful, "heaven" is not what they say it is...you're not going to be partying with friends in a mansion).

I understand how you could hold either one or both of these positions...but that just means you'll probably die in the tribulation.

Sorry to be so blunt; but if you don't think it will happen and it does (when they cry peace and safety), you'll be unprepared for what's coming.  Or, if you think God is going to take you away and he doesn't, you'll also be unprepared to survive.

Preparing is not paranoia...it's wisdom.

It's not the end of the world, as some would have you believe; just the end of the world as we know it; and the beginning of a new world, where every knee will bow and tongue proclaim that Jesus is Lord.

Jesus said to be ready always; and wisdom would dictate that you prepare for the worst; because when you're prepared, it doesn't matter what happens, or when.

Until you are reborn Spiritually...nothing else matters.

Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth
By Ray Evans May 9, 2020
Believing in the "Rapture" relieves you of the responsibility to do anything except believe in Jesus...who will magically whisk you away to heaven. It's a lie, designed to keep you from preparing or being prepared for what's coming.
Job 32:9 Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.

A lot of well-known and well-respected preachers talk about how long they have been preaching, as if the longer one preaches the more qualified one is to preach.
Job 28:28 And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom
By Ray Evans May 7, 2020
This may seem a strange question, but it never ceases to amaze me how few people allow God to play an active role in their daily lives. Why anyone would not want the creator of the universe to help them every second, every minute and every hour of every day, is simply beyond me.
Psalms 15:1 Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?
By Ray Evans May 6, 2020
The question in Psalms 15, "Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle?" probably has as many answers as there are preachers, but they all stem from a common belief: "Everyone who believes in Jesus goes to heaven." Sounds great, but is it true?
