Sinless or Sin Less

Ray Evans • February 14, 2020
Everyone knows right from wrong, it's in your heart and mind.

"Sin" is willfully choosing to do wrong.  It's not evil, it's unrighteousness.

Do not be deceived: Nowhere in scripture does it say, "God hates the sin, but loves the sinner."  Sin separates you from God...he does not hear the prayers of sinners.  "Now we know that God heareth not sinners:" (John 9:31 )

It sets my teeth on edge every time I hear a preacher say, "All your sins, past present and future have been forgiven." It relieves the congregation of any responsibility for sin...but because sin separates you from God, your prayers are hindered.  If you want to know why your prayers aren't answered, it's probably unrepentant sin in your life.

When you are reborn Spiritually, God wipes your "sin slate" clean...all your past sins are forgiven; but to stay clean, you must, "Go, and sin no more." (John 8:11)

If you sin, you must repent; because without repentance, there is no remission of sin.

People who have been reborn Spiritually do not commit sin, knowingly...it's almost always inadvertently; but when they sin, they are quickly convicted by the Holy Spirit and just as quickly, repent as God burns off the dross.  They do not linger in a state of sin, because they know and understand that sin separates you from God.  They also know If you die unrepentant, all your previous righteousness will not be remembered.  (Ezekiel 33:13)

If you continue to sin or live a sinful lifestyle, you must question whether you have been reborn Spiritually...because as the scripture says, "Whoever is born of God, doth not commit sin." (1 John 3:9)

Until you are reborn Spiritually, nothing else matters.

Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth
By Ray Evans May 9, 2020
Believing in the "Rapture" relieves you of the responsibility to do anything except believe in Jesus...who will magically whisk you away to heaven. It's a lie, designed to keep you from preparing or being prepared for what's coming.
Job 32:9 Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.

A lot of well-known and well-respected preachers talk about how long they have been preaching, as if the longer one preaches the more qualified one is to preach.
Job 28:28 And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom

This may seem a strange question, but it never ceases to amaze me how few people allow God to play an active role in their daily lives. Why anyone would not want the creator of the universe to help them every second, every minute and every hour of every day, is simply beyond me.
Psalms 15:1 Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?
By Ray Evans May 6, 2020
The question in Psalms 15, "Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle?" probably has as many answers as there are preachers, but they all stem from a common belief: "Everyone who believes in Jesus goes to heaven." Sounds great, but is it true?
